This project involved the construction of an emergency stormwater drainage ditch at Talking Stick Golf Club for the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community, aimed at diverting rainwater away from the Talking Stick Resort to prevent future flooding incidents. The scope of work included several acres of tree removal and landscape demolition, grading swales through fairways, and the careful locating and realigning of existing utilities. It also required the relocation of irrigation and gas lines, the construction of hundreds of linear feet of cast-in-place (CIP) walls, as well as new landscaping and irrigation systems. The final phase of the project involved the installation of golf course sod. The primary objective was to connect the northern retention area of the golf course to the southern retention basin, with an ultimate outfall tied into the existing storm drain system, ensuring efficient stormwater management and flood prevention.
