The scope of work for this project included the construction of approximately 2.5 miles of 16-inch water main and 3.5 miles of 18-inch sewer line. The water main construction involved installing piping appurtenances, fire hydrants, full-service connections (including water meters), asphalt work, and other incidental tasks. Additionally, the project required water service tie-ins to connect the new water main to the existing system, along with the abandonment of old, outdated lines.
For the sewer line construction, the project included running approximately 1,200 feet of service line along Longmore Road for the Cultural Repository Building, as well as a future sewer stub-out. Sewer service tie-ins were also made for locations such as the Beeline Pit Stop and the On AUK MOR Smoke Shop. Further work included service tie-ins to existing homes along the new sewer line alignment, sewer stub-outs at various points, and the removal of an old, existing 18-inch sewer line along McDowell Road.
