This project, constructed in partnership with MGC and Carollo Engineers, involved the development of key infrastructure for water treatment and distribution. The scope included the construction of a partially buried 2.5 million-gallon post-tension concrete reservoir, three 50 HP vertical turbine pumps, and three 100 HP vertical turbine pumps. The project also featured the drilling and equipping of two remote wells, a booster pump facility with a 5,000-gallon hydro-pneumatic tank, an 8,500 square-foot maintenance building, and a 1,500 square-foot electrical and disinfection building.
A 4,500 GPM coagulation/filtration arsenic removal system was installed to ensure water quality. Over five miles (30,000 linear feet) of new waterline and road improvements were constructed within public right-of-way, creating a complex, interconnected distribution system serving both residential and commercial properties. Special care was taken to ensure service continuity to sensitive commercial facilities, including Casino Arizona, with no disruption during the construction process.
