The project involved a phased construction effort to enhance the event facility, making it better suited for larger-scale events by infilling and connecting two areas to create one expansive outdoor event space. Retention areas were constructed to address existing drainage issues, ensuring the fields would remain usable under various weather conditions and reducing the risk of waterlogging during events.
To further improve the facility, Musco lighting was installed on the new field. This high-quality lighting system enables the space to host events during the evening, providing consistent and reliable illumination. Additionally, new sidewalks were added throughout the site to improve accessibility, allowing for smoother movement and better circulation for both attendees and participants.
A significant aspect of the project was the installation of nine "all-in-one" structures. These large concrete benches were strategically placed around the fields to serve multiple functions. Each structure offers shade, water, and electricity, enhancing the versatility of the space for various event types.
Overall, these improvements greatly increased the facility's capacity, functionality, and flexibility, ensuring it can accommodate larger and more diverse events in the future.
