New Water Production Facility – Project Underway!
We’re proud to announce that construction is officially underway on a state-of-the-art Water Production Facility (WPF) designed to significantly enhance local water infrastructure and reliability.
Project Scope Highlights:
• New Water Production Facility: The centerpiece of the project, this facility will house advanced water treatment and pumping systems to support long-term regional water needs.
• Dual Production Wells: Two high-capacity wells, each expected to produce between 1,000 and 1,500 gallons per minute (gpm), will supply the system—one located on-site at the WPF, and a second tentatively located approximately one mile offsite.
• 2.5-Million-Gallon Water Storage Tank: A partially buried AWWA D110-style tank will provide significant water storage capacity to ensure system resilience and supply stability.
• Booster Pump Station: Featuring six variable frequency drive (VFD)-controlled pumps, this station will deliver a combined flow of up to 6,250 gpm to meet demand fluctuations efficiently.
• Disinfection & Treatment: A chlorine gas disinfection and containment facility will be included, with additional treatment systems currently in final design.
• Comprehensive Site Improvements: The WPF site will include access roads, a perimeter site wall, parking, landscaping, drainage infrastructure, and upgraded security measures.
• Pipeline-Related Roadwork: Restoration of streets and roads impacted by pipeline installation will be completed as part of the project.
This essential infrastructure project is being delivered with a focus on long-term reliability, safety, and sustainability. Check back for updates as we bring this facility to life.
